  1. Advanced WordPress Theme Development: Scratch to Themeforest

This course may be the first complete advanced WordPress theme development course on the web covering all features of WordPress (multi-purpose theme development). Obviously, this course will be a huge course, so it can be fragmented into some parts.

    1. Designing a WordPress theme in Photoshop (multi-purpose theme).
    2. Converting this PSD theme into HTML theme.
    3. HTML theme to full functional WordPress theme.
    4. Preparing the multi-purpose WordPress theme for Themeforest.

  3. Sass: Beyond the Basics

Having covered entry-level Sass (sometimes with Compass) a couple of times, this course would bring intermediate level Sass techniques to Tuts+.

  5. Web Design: Everything Before Design Starts

This course would teach all about the planning stages of web design, before the design begins. Evaluation of existing client needs, what works, what doesn't work, navigation, site maps, wireframes, mood boards, etc.

The good news is that we have a number of UX courses in the pipeline. Stay tuned and all the points you’ve raised will be addressed!

    Thanks

  8. Shopify courses

I would like to see a course on how to design, build and create a fully functioning shopify store. For instance you create the design in PS and then code it into a fully functioning store that a customer can browse, view and order items online. As in the near future I would like to create my own ecommerce store online using this platform.
If it's possible please can you create a course like this as I would love to learn how to build things like these without paying money to someone who can do it.

  10. Scrollmagic with GSAP Animation

    Hi Ian,

i opened a new topic and pasted my comment in because the old one is completed.

I just saw that you released the new course on scroll events.
I browsed through it and I'm a bit disapointed, because I expected the course to cover scroll magic, because It's the most popular and powerfull library for more adcanced animations.

Is there a course on scrollmagic with gsap planned?
    Maybe for more advanced users?
Because I'm already familar with skrollr, etc... and I think there would be more people like me who are looking for a scrollmagic course.
    Also skrollr…

  11. Research, planning, etc. before the design and development part

Less of the technical bits of UI/UX design, and more the human parts that precede it. How to run a kickoff meeting, user research, how to do card sorting, information architecture, user profiles, element collages and wireframes. All that stuff.

I am thinking to change my development environment to Linux Ubuntu. But as a Web Designer/Developer I can not give up on Photoshop. So I think it is important for Linux Web people to have knowledge of using available resources

Web design might not be Gimp’s forte, but we could certainly explore designing with Gimp in a more general sense. We get a lot of feedback from frustrated non-mac users who are tired of seeing OS X exclusive apps :)

    We’ll look into it!
    Thanks

  15. Web Design Workflow

From Initial Client Approach to Completion. Not necessarily a in-depth look at the coding, but the steps involved that help you complete projects in a timely manner. So you can avoid taking on a project that will last 4 months, when it should only take 4 weeks. When to get paid, when to approach clients to sign off, etc.

  16. Smooth site transition website (Maybe as coffee break course)

I think a course on showing how to build a website with smooth transitions when navigating to a subpage would be cool.
    Here are some examples:

    http://www.veintidosgrados.com/agencia.html#!
    http://poc-sculpture.com/mon-travail

When you click an anchor you not only browse to the new page but also see a smooth transition/animation happening. That adds a nicer feeling.
A course on how to build this would be really helpful. Maybe it could also be covered as an tutorial or a short coffee break course.

    Thanks! :)

  19. Minimalistic Webdesign

    Hi,

a course covering the minimalistic Webdesign would be great.
In the first step the course could cover the basics. In the next step there could be a practical example. It could be structured like the Material Design course by Adi Purdilla.

    Best regards,
    Norman

  20. angular 2.0

I would like an introductory course on Angular 2.0. Angular 2.0 is a completely new beast compared to Angular 1.x and not backward compatible with current versions of Angular. The course should cover the new features such as Dependency Injections, Annotations, ShadowDOM and general difference compared with to Angular 1.x. This would help developers get to grips when Angular 2.0 is shipped
