Introduction to Game Development
An introduction to the basics of game development from a platform-agnostic point of view.
We’re not currently producing any game development courses, thanks for your suggestion though – this is where we’d start!

Making games is a creative and technical art form. There is lots of online courses for game development that will be able to leverage an array of game development techniques to create your own basic games.
I could propose a syllabus if you're seriously considering this course. What could I do to help tuts+ decide one way or the other on this? Thanks.
Wondering what people are looking for in "the basics."
1. Game mechanics
2. Level design / balance
3. Point of view (2D / 2.5D / 3D / different projection types)
4. Creating sound effects (Is that out of scope? Pretty big topic.)
5. Creating 2D graphics (Out of scope?)
6. Anything else?
